From this list of Lawyer subcategories, which profession do you think is better?

Hrmm.. A few of those on that list are very hard to prove, or won;t get you much court time. Personally, I think a prosecution lawyer is the best option, because you can often review and choose your cases ahead of time, so that you can be sure that what you are doing is right.
you would probably consider tax law or software law if you want to make good money. Criminal law can be very excited, but you have to remember that you are representing criminals, and you'll be lucky to get paid. You just need to try a few area's of law, and decided which field you fit in best at.
The list misses some of the more common "subcategories" ie:
Lying shill
Pandering prosecutor
ADA compliance extortion racketeer
Make-up phony injuries accident attorney
Lawmaker / staff member that write self-benefitting laws
the list could be as long as the entire ABA membership list
If you never want to be bored pick criminal; defense; or divorce law. This field is saturated though; chose wisely.
Maritime lawyer is off the list?? If I wasn't a management consultant, I definitely would want to be a maritime lawyer, since I love the see and you get to make big bucks and know a lot of interesting people.
